Yoda
If he does I feel sorry for him. Poor decision. For the reason that he's saying good-bye to October. Probably for good.
HighHeat45
They would have an awesome rotation though P.Martinez Glavine Trachel (sp?) Benson V. Zambrano (not neccesarly in that order)

Zambrano (not neccesarly in that order) The rotation may not look bad but the Mets are going after guys like Sammy and Moises Alou. 38 year old Alou. That's pretty sad, IMO. HuskyCaucasian
Come on, we all know why Pedro signed with the Mets..... ..... He's hoping that Kris will cheat on his wife.

LosMediasBlancas
Now if they land Sammy too, that will generate some excitement in NY among the Latin community. Regardless of what we might think of them, Pedro and Sammy still have a huge following among Dominicans.......and there are a lot of them in NY. Cerbaho-WG
Pedro's shoulder is flat out f***ed up. Give him, I say, three starts and he's gone for the year with labrum surgery.
LosMediasBlancas
Did I read that he wouldn't allow teams to look at his MRI's?

LosMediasBlancas
RED FLAG!!! I swear I heard that somewhere, but I can't imagine a team signing him anyway.
AngelasDaddy0427
This is the best news I've heard in weeks. Anything that saves KW from himself is good in my book.

KW never had any interest in signing him, I have no clue what you're huffing to even think that. And yes, Pedro and his agent are trying to forbid the Mets doctors to give him a shoulder MRI. Mr. Showtime
Is this just a guess or did you hear something... ? Stark had it: They know -- everybody knows -- Martinez has a tear in his labrum that's practically as wide as the San Andreas Fault. One informed estimate put that tear as 90 percent full. greasywheels121
ESPN's bottomline said Pedro has said it's final. He hasn't signed anything, but all that is holding this up is a physical.
DBAHO
ESPN's bottomline said Pedro has said it's final. He hasn't signed anything, but all that is holding this up is a physical. There's no doubt if the Yanks put him through a physical, that he'd fail that. Supposedly Jaret Wright's shoulder is better than Pedro's and he had to go thru 2 physicals. They like signing guys that are washed up, injured, or that suck in the first place and then they still overpay.
