Y2HH
Let me be the first to say Chicago radio annoucers are idiots. They've changed this trade 500 times now. First it was Lee for Pods/Ginter Then Lee for Pods/Ginter/Viz Then Lee/Harris for Pods/Ginter/Viz Now it's "officially" Lee for Pods/Viz. I'll wait for official announcement on mlb.com as well as on ESPN. Also, the SOX have offered money to Clement, and I DO hope we sign him. -y2
EvilJester99
They said the Sox may have saved up to 7 million with this trade.. the next thing I want to hear is the Sox just traded for Hudson and signed him to an extension... I am not sure about this trade. Pos gives the Sox somethings they have needed...speed and smart base running. I hate losing CLee's power but he was a total idiot on the bases...this will take some time to digest
Steff
How do you know this? Unless he's the player named later - which would make no sense - then he's not part of the deal.
shagar69
can anybody give info on the PTBNL? does it have to be a major league, minor league guy or what? wat exactly does it mean?
Soxbadger
If we get a quality prospect instead of Ginter I will actually be happier. It made no sense to get Ginter unless we were trading Crede. Crede and Ginter are both about the same in what they potentially could do next year, and I think Crede could in the end be the better player. CWSGuy406
How do you know this? Jim, it's officially on Rotoworld -- PTBNL, Scotty Pods, and Vizcaino. No Ginter...
CWSOX45
the only way in hell i trade rowand and Bmac for huddy is if he agree to a 3 or 4 year extension before the trade. I thought Hudson got traded to LA?? Am I missing something? CWSOX45
qwerty
How do you know this? They have said it 100 time it is lee for podsednik and vizcaino along with a player to be named later. Player to be named later is never a major league player.
Dick Allen
are u dumb? look at his ERA, not to mention that he is a groundball pitcher. Hey kerry wood has the same career high in wins as garland. The cubs should do a wood for garland swap Not I'm not dumb. Wins are a lot more important than ERA. He's had a couple of seasons of decent ERA's, but he's an injury risk. Plus, at no time did I say he wasn't better than Garland. I just mentioned Garland has more wins than him. Clement is overpriced. Teams with budgetary concerns like the White Sox should stay away. The guy is getting $1 million per win last season. Its ridiculous. Whichever team signs this guy at that number will regret it.

Do u not understand that if he were on the sox last year, he would of had like 18 wins? based on ur logic RJ blows cuz hes basically a .500 SP (16-14)
LosMediasBlancas
I don't know if this makes anyone feel better, but I talked to a guy at the Cougars game once, (where I worked) he said he had Podsednik live with him when he played with the Cougars (affiliated with the Marlins at that time.) He said the kid was not the most talented player in the world, but worked his a$$ off. That's the only reason he made it to the pro's. I like guys that work their asses off, I'm willing to give him a chance. But jesus kenny sign a starting pitcher. CWSOX45 ......and from my reliable source in Milwaukee, he says he's 'a punk' and the Brewers couldn't wait to trade him. FWIW.
quickman
Ginter is not in the deal. 1)I said IF he is in the deal. 2) how do you know he is not the player to be named? Do you know this?
Yoda
What would have been better for me is giving up BOTH Crede and Lee for Podsenik, Ginter and Vizcaino. The only reason I am saying this is because people are saying we won’t get Ginter in today’s deal.
Guest JimH
Unless he's the player named later - which would make no sense - then he's not part of the deal. ESPN1000 said the player to be named is not a minor leaguer. Could be lots of reasons why they wouldn't announce the 3rd player right away. Maybe the Sox don't have room on the 40 man? And they need to move somebody before the 3rd guy is announced?

Brewers boards have nothing to say except good things about him off the field. Very nice guy they are all saying They are just saying he is terrible in the fielder and is vastly overated, which he is.
