BlizzardOfOzzie
Just curious as to what everyone thinks. Isn't this a toss-up or is Buehrle that much better than Garcia?
Tjones
Buehrle will be I bet

KevHead0881
I'm guessing Ozzie will go with Buehrle, just out of loyalty. Then again, Garcia is essentially a Guillen family member, so who knows.

qwerty
Mark B our ACE He is like you said our ace, but in my opinion he is not an ace. I am sure some people won't agree with me on that.

Heads22
Buehrle, no doubt. If I could keep one player from the team for the next ten years, itd be him.

I think he is actually. You have to think about the Cell factor when comparing him to other pitchers.

qwerty
I think he is actually. You have to think about the Cell factor when comparing him to other pitchers. I know, even in a better pitchers park than we have i do not see him having 4-5 years in a row with an era in the 2.80-3.30 range. That is what i consider an ace. Maybe for this day and age i have to high of expectations?
Heads22
There are very few pitchers who meet that criteria. BEST 38TH ROUND PICK EVER.

I am sure some people won't agree with me on that. i also do not believe he is an ace. on a championship team, he'd likely be a #3 starter, 2 the highest but that's iffy. not really of the stopper variety. i'm out
southsider2k5
Unless we get the Big Unit, it will be MB. no doubt.

If he's pitching anywhere besides here (and Coors), people would be talking about him as one of the best pitcher's in the game. I have no doubt he'd have, at worst, a 3.50 ERA, if he pitched anywhere else...
Heads22
I don't want to hear about him pitching for any other team....If he was traded to the Cubs, inexplicably somehow, I'd cheer for him to win every time out.
