Back in the day they'd have called him The Polish Pony, but (1) it might offend in these sensitive times and (2) he may not be Polish. If we really cared about offending people, would the Sox actually play mr. Roboto when Shingo comes out? I mean, not cause he's Japanese - but more cause It's Styx. He has a penchant for overdoing it and names like Pea Poddy, Podzilla, etc, will ruin it quickly. Another thing will be be a .250 average and a subpar OB% and minsicule RBI's, etc, which I am worried might happen. You can only hope for the best though and try and be positive.
