Now, we weren't in a campground - we were using the floor of the scoutmaster's rehearsal roomspace (he was in a heavy metal band at the time). The day after I got home I had a real bad earache that stayed for a couple days. I got ear infections regularly so it wasn't a huge deal, but this one hurt. I thought that my ear had swollen shut because I felt blockage, etc.... I tried to flush out any wax blockage with water and a 1-2 inch cockroach fell out of my ear and down the drain.
