soxfan420
i think he wants to one up the fans this year, unlike last year where he got attacked, i think he will wait to announce the new SP until soxfest to shock the fans so they cant do anything but praise him. anythoughts, is someone already signed and just not gone public yet? WHarris1
Nah, he won't wait. I think he needs to do something damn fast, the FA SP market is shrinking.
Mr. Showtime
If he waits till Soxfest to sign a FA starter, we'll end up with someone who is just god awful.
Chisoxfn
Like Ian says, if he waits, the Sox are getting crap (if its a FA signing) for starting pitching.
chisox2334
Guys this first offseason I seen kenny make this many moves. I gurantee it would happeened before. Kenny even at those meetings away back was being ative. Hes definitley not done folks. Kenny has a master plan in tact but who knows. HighHeat45
The team might be able to keep quite that long but the player sure wouldnt.
CWSGuy406
Kenny's moves aren't going to be made to spite the fans. I can assure you, while I definitely don't like all of his moves, he does what (he thinks) is in the best interest of the team. He could care less if no one in the world likes the trade -- if he likes it, and his advisors like it, he'll make the move.

Mr. Showtime
Prediction:A starting pitching will be signed or traded for by Christmas. I can't wait that long. I love when the board has 100 new threads.

I am just trying to assure myself we are going to get a SP, I am so antsy to see how the offseason plays out. WE NEED A f***ING SP!
KevHead0881
We better not wait till then. A lot of people on this board have had a tough enough time waiting 24 hours after the Lee trade for another move. I'd hate to see this place at the end of January if we hadn't picked up a SP by the time SoxFest rolls around.

The Critic
If he waits until SoxFest, the announcement will be the Return Of Todd Ritchie. Gotta move NOW - this talk of "possibly waiting until June/July" worries me a LOT.
