SkokieSox
If the Angels sign Clement, then Jarod Washburn will certainly be on his way out. I believe he is a pitcher KW has liked for some time. The question is, would you as a fan be satisfied with Washburn added to the rotation along with a guy like Cairo to platoon at second, if Clement doesn't sign with us? I could live with it, but obviously Clement would rather be had.
WSFAN35
Washburn will get lit up at USCF. And I mean, lit up.
aboz56
Washburn would be okay, but I am not really in favor of getting him. I would say go after AJ Burnett via trade.
3E8
His career 0.7 G/F ratio is terrifying... ...however he does love to pitch at the Cell. 2002-2004 30.1 IP 2.08 ERA .159 BAA 2 CG 3-1 record.
CWSGuy406
I'd take Washburn as an option if and only if we also got an upgrade behind home plate (Pierz...) as well as Cairo to platoon at second. If not, then just spend the money and get a pitcher...
AddisonStSox
Washburn would be okay, but I am not really in favor of getting him. I would say go after AJ Burnett via trade. We don't have the resources to land our fifth starter via trade. Its as simple as that. This last guy has got to come via free agency or we are in big trouble. Unless either Hudson or Johnson is brought it, that last starter can not be traded for. We have already sold the farm and are in danger of doing so again. If not Hudson or Johnson, free agency. If not Clement, Perez.

I think washburn or perez along with pierz is a better deal than just clement
EvilJester99
Washburn, Pier and maybe Cora...would be solid.
santo=dorf
Washburn would be okay, but I am not really in favor of getting him. I would say go after AJ Burnett via trade. Marlins have said they will only trade AJ if they get Hudson in return, so unless were sending s*** to Oakland, forget about it.

We don't really hit lefties very well.
