dmbjeff
1. Odalis Perez 2. Eric Milton 3. Derek Lowe 4. Kevin Millwood 5. Aaron Sele 6. Orlando Hernandez 7. Jose Lima 8. Esteban Loaiza 9. Pedro Astacio 10. Shawn Estes 11. Andy Ashby 12. Hideo Nomo 13. Darren Oliver Those are the only remaining FA's left for us to fill the final spot. I know not all of these pitchers are good, some are pretty bad. I left Roger Clemens off this list cause if he comes back it will only be with Houston. Unless we can trade for a starter this is what we have remaining, its not a pretty sight, the first 4 are decent, but then there is a fall off. Of this list I don't even know if anyone is injured currently, but this is what we have to choose from, I hope we get someone of the top 4 here. It's better than Grilli or Diaz. qwerty
2. Eric Milton I would rather have mike jackson as are fifth starter for every game of the season than milton.
Reddy
I'd take Perez, Millwood or Lowe... i guess... but KW better get his ass in fast... I have the feeling we might be that 4th team in the RJ trade now that Clement is gone...?
RibbieRubarb
Lowe really showed me something during the Playoffs last year. If the bidding for Perez gets out of hand...then I think we should give Derek a shot. 3 year - 15.5?

Wise Master Buehrle
He thinks he is worth 8-10 per year. So that could be a problem. If we were willing to give Clement 7 million a year, then someonelike Lowe who is better and has had more success than Clement would be worth the extra few million. I don't care what he did in the playoffs. He still had a 5.42 era in the regular season.
AngelasDaddy0427
Everyone on that list is better then what we have already...even Elo... Honestly I don't even give a s*** anymore who just f***ing GET SOMEONE!

DBAHO
Wilson Alvarez is another, but the Dodgers are expected to finalise a deal with him tomorrow.
AngelasDaddy0427
No they are not. You really think Jason Grilli is better then ANYONE on that list... Yes Diaz is better then most of the people on that list but Ozzie and Kenny will never give him a legit shot because of their Grilli hardon. Anything is better then having Grilli in the rotation. Reddy
I have a hard time believing we wont get SOMEONE... the thing is whether or not KW will just try and get lucky and pull another loaiza or if he'll actually get someone who is halfway decent... I'm scared though...

sox-r-us
Why not Jose lima as our 5th starter? He is definitely better than our useless 5th starter options within our system Get Lima

Jordan4life_2007
I'd rather have Grilli. Grili over Milton? Is something wrong with this guy that I don't know about? lol

bulokis
Who else is on Perez' radar? Hope we make a run at him, just trusting my instinct that we will bcoz KW really wanted to get him from the dodgers. Milwood is another good option. Milton intrigues me bcoz he can fit right in as another lefty on our rotation.
qwerty
lol.....What's wrong with Milton? I'm not saying he's great, but Mike Jackson? 0.59. g/f ratio. He gives up homeruns like it is part of his job. He is just and overated and overpaid piece of s***.

He also wants 7 to 8 mill and if he were here his era would be over 6, he can go f*** himself as far as I'm concerned.

Jordan4life_2007
Cause he sucks.......... Career record of 98-64, era under 4? I'd take him for the right price.

FWIW, Milton declined 6 million from the YANKEES because he believed more money was deserving. Dumb bastard; playing hardball with the Yankees as if they're desperate for him.
