farmteam Posted February 27, 2005 Share Posted February 27, 2005 I decided to go young. Trade Thomas, Wright, and Grilli to Tampa Bay for Upton and Kazmir. Also traded Jackson and Cotts to Seattle for Buhner (fictional player, but only 19 or 20, and on the top 100). We'll see how it works out. Nokona Posted February 27, 2005 Share Posted February 27, 2005 Sox currently 40-19 this year. I swept the Cubs in a 4 game series it was beautiful. Pierz is playing really bad so i went and used Johnny Bench =). I also traded Borchard, Wirght for Jeremey Reed who is hitting like 400 in 20 games spot starting for Dye and Pods. Also had to cut Gload because he was being a crybaby. Ben Davis is in AAA and Timo threw a fit so i dropped him to Single - A for a week before cutting him. Anderson and Sweeney are both in Charlotte (Ryan flew threw the system in 2 weeks). BMac is playing bad and i believe the computer put him into the pen. I was pissed off about that when i saw it. Gooch sprained an MCL in the 2nd game of the season and Willie has been doing a decent job filling in. Gooch comes back in 5 more days! I don't know why, but I never used the hitters eye feature..until tonight. It really works. I just sit on fastballs and hit four home runs in the first game I used it.
