MVP Baseball 2005

Yeah, I noticed that with Kazmir.

And Jason, I was thinking about adding a Soda Stand...I currently have just pizza and ice cream, and they sell pretty well.

How much do you guys make (pure profit) a game? My last game, I think I made 330,000 or so. And that was the profit. However, it was a promotion game.

i think the whole owner mode thing would be cool if i was just messing around, simming games and stuff.

But when i play my game in my dynasty, i want to be in the cell.

So do I but that ballpark they have in this game ain't the cell, that is the reason I'm making my own park.

I simmed a game and made 500K. Lower your ticket prices a bit more, just by five bucks, more people come.

Folks -- I have a really huge favor to ask of you. I've decided within the last ten minutes that I'll be doing the minor league systems by myself this year (well, at least the top ten prospects from each team). Anyways -- What I need, is, if you see a player that is on the wrong team (like Sosa and Farnsy still on the Cubs), or a FA that has been picked up already, would you be able to let me know? This is for the original rosters, too...

Your help would be greatly appreciated, as this next week is going to officially make me into a nerd (if I wasn't already), and the fun won't begin until I actually finish these damn things.

Im lookin at some of the MVP Rewards. Heres a few things i noticed:

No Old Comiskey

Fisk is an unlockable guy (it says mystery Catcher but he played on the red and white sox from 1969-1993) hmmmmmm

New 1980 Unlockable sox jersey

I noticed the Old Comiskey thing too... it looks like Riverfront is on there, along with Cleveland Municipal (or whatever it was), but no Comiskey????

2 questions:

1. I know there is a way to get to Spring Training on the game but I don't know how. That's not really a question, but you know what I mean.

2. Also, when will the updated rosters be on EA Sports? They have Alex Cora on the Dodgers, Loaiza on the Red Sox :huh among other errors.

Other than that this game rocks. Beat the Tribe last night 12-5. AJ hit 2 homers.

Since none of the Top 100 prospects have played in the majors yet, EA Sports created fake names for them. Some guy researched and came up with who the fake names equal.

Thanks, I'll be applying that. And also, I like putting a medium setting instead of high setting for the owner mode so it's like I'm try to build up all the way. It's much harder, but that's how in real life it works.

Unless you're Brian Cashman. :D

Oh yeah, the closest thing I find to Jesse Owens is the Nationals 2nd best prospect in 1A, CF- J. Corey....I'm pretty sure he's Jesse Owens though he only has 85 speed.

BTW its Jerry Owens... I think Jesse Owens would be a little faster than an 85 speed  :P

-- I know WHarris has been b****ing about the tag plays, but we found them to be 10x better than they were last year.  I liked the improvements in that regard.

10x better then last year doesn't even make tagging good.

I was playing my brother and there was twice in one 9 inning game where it was a complete screw up. Where the 3B catches the ball waits, turns around, bends over, tags. Safe.

I agree with you, tagging is still an issue. I havent had any MAJOR problems with it, but I have seen what your talking about.

This minors stuff is tedious. Im trying to do that list that was posted, it takes a while.......

You should get a keyboard, it only took me about 45 minutes to do all 100 with my keyboard.
