Toughest Pitch: (CCH)- Santana, (SLD, CHA)- Shingo, (ALL)- Pineiro

For some reason, I can;t hit Joel Pineiro....he pitched a complete game, 3-hitter against me last night.

i always get picked off maybe i just take to big of a lead

I hear a lot of gamers complain that the base stealers are too slow. You may want to change the sliders a couple notches for both teams. I put it at plus 2 . I usually steal 75-80% of my bases this way with pods.

I tried lowering payroll so I traded Frank for Overbay straight up. I got a message saying that I lowered my payroll so much, the ad/sponsorship $$$ I get went up so its a win/win situation. BTW, that basestealing tip works Tony....

You hardly see people take 3rd in real life...

ummm good base runners will tell you its easier to steal third than 2nd.... at least according to the hawk :headbang

anyways ive seen Crawford do it some times in real life but in the game its near impossible got it once for like 10.

Pro with Sliders.

Wow -- don't take this as me being an asshole to you or anything, but how can you even have fun playing like that?

You're 20-4, you're worst pitcher doesn't even have a four ERA, and you're worst hitter is still hitting .298...

Good basestealers maybe, but whoever is saying that is a real dumbass...

It's simple -- the catcher has a longer ways to throw the ball to get to second, thus, increasing the chance for a more innacurate throw, and giving the runner more time to steal.

Just played my first game at All-Star level..... it was a ST game in my 2nd season against the Cubs. Gave up a leadoff triple in the first, then got two outs and gave up a 2-run HR. I gave up 12 hits so it was a struggle, but I held the 2-0 deficit until the 9th. I entered the 9th being freakin no-hit. I either hit it weakly or right at someone every time. I was getting really frustrating.

Pierzynski led off the 9th with a single to left. Pinch hit Willie Harris for Andy Marte (acq. in a trade last season) and Willie singled to left. Iguchi doubled down the line to score one. Harris broke his freakin leg sliding back into 3B after rounding it hard so I had to PR Rocco Baldelli (anotehr FA acquisition). Podsednik flew out to deep RF and scored Baldelli, moving Iguchi to 3B. They walked Rowand bringing up Rafael Palmeiro (free agent acquisition). Raffy got jammed and hit a double play ground ball to Aramis Ramirez, who promptly booted the ball, allowing Iguchi to score the winning run.

So I go from looking like I am going to get blown out, to scattering 12 hits to not having any hits in the first 8 innings to getting 3 runs and 4 hits in the bottom of the 9th to win 3-2.

I need some work hitting All-Star level. LOL
