mreye
How can antone say "No" to this? Explain yourselves!
greasywheels121
This at least got my point across though. A majority feels that if Manning had a a good defense around him, he'd have won at least 1 Super Bowl by now. Also, Brady wouldn't be able to win a Super Bowl with a defense like Indy's. Well if the midwestern-based Soxtalk says so, it must be true.

Answer Mr. Eye's question though, since it's obvious you don't think Manning could win a Super Bowl in New England. Why would Manning be unable to win a Super Bowl with a good all-around team? Spiff
Answer Mr. Eye's question though, since it's obvious you don't think Manning could win a Super Bowl in New England. Why would Manning be unable to win a Super Bowl with a good all-around team? Well as you've seen, Manning has a penchant for s***ting his pants in the big games. It's not like the Patriots were that much more dominant than the Rams in 2002, if you remember they came in as underdogs. Underdogs to the Steelers and the Raiders too. The next year, Peyton and the Colts lost 41-0 to the Jets in the first round. 0 points, you can't blame that on his defense. There's no way you can say definitively that he would have won the Super Bowl with New England. Just like you can't say that Marino would have definitely won with the 49ers or Barry Sanders would have won with the Cowboys. Teams win because they have the right people for their system. greasywheels121
That's a more legite post. I can agree with that; though I think Manning's proved he can win in the playoffs now. I hope Indy and NE can meet up again; I think Indy would come out on top this time. Manning wasn't the reason we lost the first game in NE this year.
