That was the most f***ed up movie I have ever seen in my life. The eyeball scene was bad. Really bad. But overall, the movie was not nearly as gory as originally expected. Honestly, I think Tarantino was masterful in having the first 1/2 hour have absolutely nothing to do with what the movie was supposed to be about. This way, when the actual horror part begins, it kinda hits you like a train. (pun intended) The movie wasn't great but it wasn't bad. The scene with Josh was easily the best scene in the movie. You can almost feel his pain.

"tarantino was masterful"

that guy is masterful ... at making people think he made movies he didn't have s*** to do with.

Eli Roth directed it.

He was the executive producer + the ''presenter''.

Rowand,  everyone knows you can't handle horror movies.  You had to close your eyes during certain scenes from Gremlins.

When the Gremlins run over the Fuddermans, pure fear!!!

if crash wins i'll be pissed.

Back in the day, I would of seen all the best picture nominations but Crash is the only one out of the 5 I have seen and would be satisfied if it won. I liked it alot.

Went and saw "Running Scared". Just saw some good reviews but didn't know much about it. What a cool flick. Go check it out.

Not a fan of Paul Walker by any means but he does a good job and the cinematography is top notch. There is a cool scene at a hockey rink under a black light that looks sweet.

I know it is only Feb but this is my fav of the year so far.

Wow, thx man. The previews look really cool, which usually means it sux. I'll go see it now that you've recomended it and if it sux you'll just have to pay me $9.50.

If I wasn;t so poor, I'd take you up on that. Some cool effects, good suspense, and action, and lots of blood but not to the point where it is gratuitous. I'll be getting it on DVD when it comes out.

i liked eberts review...it seemed spot on but i don't think i really want to see running scared. Just seems like one of 'dose' "look how much crazy s*** we can fit into an hour and a half yo" movie movviez

That's pretty much what it was, except it was two hours long. Some of that movie just seemed completely irrelevant. There was a whole lot of junk thrown into it. It was still a decent action flick, though. But don't be surprised if, at some point during the movie, you're thinking, "How long is this thing" or "Where are they going with this?"

haha, thanks. I'll probably rent it. Its odd that i'd say "i don't think i'm gonna see it" because no matter how badly i want to see any movie now i have no way of getting to a theatre. I was lucky that our little family theatre showed all of the best pic. flics during 1st semester.(cept crash)

First of all I'm not a fan of Bill Murray, why is he funny? Delivering lines with that lifeless slouched body, droopy face and monotone has never been funny to me. It must be me.

Guess what? That's exactly how he plays serious roles too.

I finally saw 'Broken Flowers', good film except it felt incomplete. Anyone else seen it??
