I've never seen a lot of "must see" movies in their entirety. I saw one of the Godfather movies but was totally lost because I had never seen the first one. I've never seen a whole Rocky movie (not that I can remember, anyways). So you're not alone.

I'm with you on that one. I've only seen bits and pieces of the Rocky series as well.

But to add about The Godfather, what's so amazing is that they manage to fit what could very well be 3 or 4 different movies all in one. Sure, each film is about 37 hours long, but the story telling is fantastic. In retrospect, I think the 2nd one is my favorite. I love the flashback scenes to Vito Corleone as he was growing up and becoming the Don.

I liked the first two Spiderman movies but i have no interest whatsoever in seeing the third. Sorry. I'm just looking forward to the Bourne Ultimatum, but i have to wait til August.

I'm really pumped to see the next Bourne as well. Kinda crazy that I saw the first one early in my Sophomore year of college and now the third one is coming out and I have been out of school for over a year. Getting old is a b****.

Just saw Spiderman. I f***ing loved it. I will admit there is a little bit of corny when Peter turns bad, but it doesn't ruin it. The story bounces around A LOT, but it's not hard to follow. All the enemies were bad ass. I really liked what they did w/ Harry and being the second Green Goblin--the action and fight scenes were really sweet.

This message is completely incoherent, but I don't care. All I know is I will be seeing this movie multiple times.

besides the fight scene at the end, which was amazing, the movie was just alright. It is better than the 2nd but not the first. I really hope this isnt the end of the whole series though, I want more spiderman action!

Didn't Tobey say this was his last one?

I saw him on the Daily Show the other day, and he didn't say no, but he didn't say yes either. He probably just went to the same school Mark Buehrle did.

it all depends on sam raimi it sounds like; if he does The Hobbit then I do not think Tobey wants to go back

Alright, just got back from watching it for a second time. I'm much more satisfied with this movie on the second viewing. It was much easier to process what was going on, and I was able to pick up on much more.

However, now with better understanding, I have one gripe with the movie. I didn't really like the Sandman. His story's just out of place in this. It could be fixed by making this movie longer, explaining his story a little better, etc. or just saving him for another movie.

Exactly my thoughts. GF2 >>>>>>>>>>> GF1 (overrated, but still great.)

Watched Dr. Strangelove the other night and thought it was horrible. I didn't get it at all (to be fair, I was really tired and on night medicine.)

Fracture was pretty good.

Never seen any of the Spiderman movies, and am looking forward to the new Batman.

American Physco is so awesome, I'm starting to model myself after Bale's character. I'm growing my hair long to slick it straight back (hasn't been this long and years,) and started doing more ab crunches.

I can do 50 of them. :P

I thought the way they did bad Peter was really wrong for the movie. It didnt fit, instead of making him a pompous jackass they should have just made him dark and more agressive. And secondly, did anybody find themselves looking at the extras in the scenes?Just for their stupid facial expressions and large breasts. There was plenty of that going on.

My friend and I were talking about that over dinner after the movie. There were some fine looking extras in that movie.

Spiderman was pretty damn good. I enjoyed almost every bit of it, only complaint would be too many character's stuffed into one movie. Venom alone could be a whole movie. Overall it was great, loved the action scenes and had some good laughs in it. Alot of hot hoooottttttt babes in it aswell. Not better then the first however, can't top William Defoe.

I saw two movies yesterday one really awful and one really good.

The really awful first, we went to see Lucky You thinking it would be a funny cute girl movie (that's sort of what it was marketed as). Instead, we were "treated" to an overlong, bloated piece of crap with no discernable plot, acting ability or script. About 60% of the movie is showing stupid poker games with cliched dialogue and overwrought acting. Terrible. Absolutely rubbish. If I wasn't with a bunch of other people, I would definitely have walked out.

Then, after dinner, we went and saw Hot Fuzz. I love Shaun of the Dead and British humor in general, and I really enjoyed this movie. I definitely laughed my butt off. I would recommend it, it's a tad long, but definitely still awesome.

Okay, I hadn't heard much about it since I first saw the ads but Harsh Times with Christian Bale was pretty awesome.

Is that on DVD? I wanted to see it in theatres but never got around to it.

Loved it. The plot was lacking a bit but Bale pulled it off. It really is amazing that someone who has his natural accent is able to do the type of accents he uses in his films.

Definitely too long imo. I thought it was entertaining but not hilarious, I did enjoy it though.

Saw Spiderman on Friday. Overall, I thought it was pretty damn good, hated the ending though.

I enjoyed Spiderman 3 also, some parts they kind of dragged out with nonsense. Like you said kind of a dull ending.

I dont really see a 4th one stemming off of this movie though or how they would have another.

But Im all for it.

I saw Casino Royale and thought it sucked. I'm so god-damned sick of Texas Hold'em.

Casino Royale was alright.

Liked Spider-Man, but it was really silly. Peter Parker playing jazz piano? His dance numbers walking down the street? Is Raimi directing the Broadway music?

Anyone notice how similiar it was to Superman 3?

Watched Laurel Canyon over the weekend. I had a feeling of anger after watching it. The characters made me uneasy. Francis Mcdormand was terrific in it though and Kate Beckinsale was fun to look at. Not one of Christian Bale's better roles. I didn't find him believable as a psychiatrist.
