JDsDirtySox
Seems to me, we have about an hour left to determine what the Sox next move is gonna be. Ben Davis is the only player on the Sox with the future still up in the air. If the Sox don't tender him a contract, I think that shouts out that we are going after AJ. I fully expect that there is some sort of deal that will be worked out between KW and Big Ben, but we will know for sure in just a bit. qwerty
They will tender him in my opinion. Even though i am not for it.

I am not sure I am for it either, but other than AJ, what other option would we have? Trade for overpaid Charles Johnson? Toby Hall? I got it! Bring Back Brooke Fordyce! Dick Allen
I predict Ben either signs for less than he made this year, or he gets non-tendered. What would he command on the open market?
JDsDirtySox
Toby Hall of the DRays has been tendered. I would say they could do that and still trade him, but I would think that takes them out of the AJ Derby.
bulokis
What happen to Rowand, isnt he arb eligible also?
chisox2334
sox have offered but no word on him yet. Same with davis. But I think if whitesox offered aj tonight their probably waiting on him. If aj rejects ben will be back. If aj signs davis gone.
AngelasDaddy0427
AROW can't up and become a free agent right? I mean what happens if he gets disgusted and declines it?
qwerty
AROW can't up and become a free agent right? I mean what happens if he gets disgusted and declines it? An arbitration judge says what he is worth and he has no choice but to accept it. I am willing to bet that they sign him for 2-3 with and option. In the long run they would be saving money. KWs OK for Me
Just to make sure I'm clear, we only have two players remaining (minus Uribe and Schooey) that are arbitration eligible, Davis and Rowand? When is the latest we will hear from them about? I assume they will offer Rowand arbitration and try to sign a multi-year deal before that comes around, but what about Davis? When do we hear about this?
