aboz56
Just wanted to see what everyone thought, at least those of you who listened or still do listen to them. Personally my favorite is Black, definitely one of their more meaningful songs and something a lot of us can relate to.
AngelasDaddy0427
I feel so left out. I've never heard a Pearl Jam song....
Soxy
Probably BetterMan--although for the longest time I thought they were saying Patter Pan. Now that I know the lyrics I like it a lot more...

The Critic
Probably BetterMan--although for the longest time I thought they were saying Patter Pan. Now that I know the lyrics I like it a lot more... whenever my wife plays her Pearl Jam CD and that song comes on, I sing "...can't find a butter kniiiiiiiife....." It's even more annoying than you'd think.
Scwible
My vote went to Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town. Though it wasa tough call between that and black as well as Daughter. Any of you guys buy the album Rearviewmirror (greatest hits 1991 - 2003) ?? It's got all of these favorites on it.
Rex Kickass
Thank you, Columbia House! I met Stone Gossard once. Asshole. Big time! I'd have to say my favorite Pearl Jam would be not actually a Pearl Jam song. I like "The Day Brings" by Brad - side project with Stone Gossard. And "Hunger Strike" by Temple of the Dog - featuring Mr. Vedder. Otherwise, if I had to choose, I'd choose Dissident.
Texsox
It is too hard to pick one. Can I go with none? Not a PJ fan.
LosMediasBlancas
Former PJ fan here, boy I miss the very early days of that band when Eddie used to climb s*** at their shows and could roar like a lion. Now they put me to sleep, what happened??
hammerhead johnson
Huge Pearl Jam fan here. I've actually read three of their books & I have maybe a dozen bootlegs including the classic MTV Unplugged performance from 1992 with Jack McDowell on guitar for "Even Flow" That boy can certainly hold his own. Honestly though, my favorite albums are "Yield" and "Binaural". My favorite tracks, and I don't know if I can choose one over the others: Wishlist Sleight Of Hand Parting Ways Footsteps (Live version from "Covering Themselves") Oceans (from "MTV Unplugged") Elderly Woman Curduroy There are too many to name... Hey Hammer, do you have any of the Stickfigure stuff? I only heard like 3 songs before and it was pretty darn good.

I don't have anything from Stickfigure. I remember hearing a song from them...it kinda sounded like R.E.M. Yeah, Jack McDowell is a talented guy. Stanford Graduate, Professional Athlete, Musician, Sports Writer, etc.

KevHead0881
Big time PJ fan. I feel like I am one of the few that still think they are good. I'd have to go with Corduroy off the Vitology album. Also love "I got ID" off the Merkin Ball import. Best album? Vs.
hammerhead johnson
Also love "I got ID" off the Merkin Ball import. I can't make out anything that Vedder is saying, but that song kicks ass.

hammerhead johnson
Nice one. Yeah, I don't know what it is about that track. I read that they did it in one take. That's why there's some inconsistent patterns with the guitar work towards the end. They should have adjusted the vocals so that you could actually make out what he's saying. But it's still a great song...it has a live feel to it.
