CWSGuy406
QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jan 2, 2005 -> 11:58 PM) An Arizona win and an easier SOS then TB, I believe. Wait -- they don't go by head-to-head record to decide draft picks? Grr...
MurcieOne
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jan 2, 2005 -> 05:14 PM) If they take Williams, I won't mind if they cut DT loose. But I don't see anyone ready to step in and take that starters' job from Terrell -- Gage is nowhere near ready (hell, how a team cannot get a guy who can jump that high is beyond me), and while Berrian is close (should be the #3 next season), he's not ready. Wade is a nice guy to have around, too, but he's not your number one. He's the possession guy, good hands, doesn't run extremely fast/jump very high, but he's a very nice number two/number three. That being said.... DT is ok.... But consider the fact of all the penalties he got flagged for and all the extra curricular s*** that we dont need to worry about... time to cut this puppy loose. Mike Williams, Braylon Edwards, or Mark Clayton.. One of those guys would be a very good pick for them.. They need to give Grossman a weapon.. CWSGuy406
Alright, let's us (I know, doesn't make sense) Bears/football fans play general manager(s) here. (Post your thoughts on each of the four top picks). With the first pick in the draft, the San Fran 49ers select...... Hmm... are they content with Rattay/Dorsey? I doubt they go RB, Barlow is solid. They're alright at WR with Lloyd/Wilson, but they can use improvement. They seem like a team that needs a LOT of improvement, thus, I can definitely see them trading down. Then again, Antrelle Rolle or Corey Webster would probably be good picks for their defense, too. My bold prediction: They trade their pick down to one of the other 31 teams in the NFL... With the second pick in the draft, the Miami Dolphins select..... Cedrick Benson, and there's my bold prediction. Their defense is kick ass, and their QB's would be a lot better if they had an NFL running back behind them. Then again, Steel and Rowand could comment better on this situation. With the third pick in the draft, the Cleveland Browns select...... I have no idea on this one. I assume they go defense, with them taking Winslow JR last year, as well as Garcia and Green at QB and RB respectively. As long as they don't take Mike Williams, I'll be happy. With the fourth pick in the draft, the Chicago Bears select...... Mike Williams. If he's on the board at four, I cannot see any way in hell how the Bears can pass him up. This team hasn't had an offensive weapon as good as Williams can be since (can I say since Payton) him. Thoughts on the first four picks, ladies and gentlemen? Your predictions? GoodAsGould
i think its been reported that that 49ers are really interested in Rodgers... and for the Browns i think we are safe from them since they got northcutt, davis, and bryant already a solid core of WR's... I like the pick, and I also think thats what it will be but you dont draft RB's that high Miami will almost surely trade down before they take Benson at #
chimpy2121
I think the browns will go with Rolle

WHarris1
I agree completely, pick up 2 more OLineman and Mike Willams.
chimpy2121
I really like Adam Terry (OT 'Cuse) as a good 2nd or 4th round pick depends how the draft brakes down and who declares.

WHarris1
I call JA trading down for some reason he doesn't have the guts to pick high. Did the same thing the year we got Rex.
chimpy2121
I would be ok with trading #4 to SD and get their 2 picks for the 1st round. Then we get Jammal Brown and Mark Clayton. But I would still much rather get Williams.
WHarris1
I doubt anyone trades 2 1sts for our pick, there just doesnt seem to be that one guy out there for SD that they are jumping out of there pants to get.
