Chisoxfn
Alright, quote plus does work. A quick explanation is you click on the quote plus button on every post you want to quote and then it turns to a "-" Once you have all the ones you want selected go to the bottom of the page and click reply. Once you do that all of the quotes will appear in the reply box and anywhere you see an end quote tag you post just below that your response to that quote. Then go to the next end quote tag and type your response for that quote there.

I've tried to test it & I can not get a double quote reply to occur. http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?sh...52entry549852 +QUOTE & REPLY should produce a reply field with 2 quotes: Test 1 & Test 2. But it doesn't. It only produces Test 2. If you click it on to where it becomes -QUOTE it still produces Test 2. FYI: "http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?act=Post&CODE=02&f=10&t=28253&qpid=549853" There is only one argument for quote reference. That is qpid. I will try some different values with that, but it looks like the quote depth for any post is 1.
Gene Honda Civic
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jan 5, 2005 -> 12:11 PM) Oh gotcha, I can set up something like that. Gimme a few minutes juggs Quote+ is used for multiple quotes QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jan 5, 2005 -> 12:14 PM) Ok Juggs, got take a look at it now. You should be all set click "quote+" on the posts you wish to reply, then click the "new reply" button. -- Don't click the "reply '" button, that will only reply to one post. JUGGERNAUT
Got it! Chisoxfn maybe this will help you out with the code. "http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?act=Post&CODE=02&f=10&t=28253&qpid=549853,549852" http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?ac...d=549853,549852 qpid supports multiple quote references separated by commas. Now we just need +QUOTE plus to populate the field that way.

You can quote mutilple posts in a thread in a single reply using +QUOTE for each post you want to quote & ADD REPLY. But that's not the same thing as QUOTE inheritance. But thanks to the qpid field you can do quote inheritance as well. Moving the mouse over the + (snapback field) in each quote box gives you the post number in the thread. To create a quote inheritance tree you just have to include those numbers separated by ","s in the qpid field. "http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?act=Post&CODE=02&f=10&t=28253&qpid=549852,549853" http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?ac...d=549852,549853 Pretty cool feature either way. Thanks! Chisoxfn
Not a problem. I figure its one of those features that takes a little getting used to, but in certain instances it will be real cool to have.
