WilliamTell
On Around The Horn he said, "Tony, a career advice, stay away from local radio." I knew he'd say something like that.

JUGGERNAUT
He actually had a decent column yesterday. It seems he's always been in love with Farve. I read the whole story in the papers last week. Here's the highlights: 1-Mariotti claimed great ratings. Station manager said they were OK. Essentially anything was better than Rome's syndicated national show. They will replace Mariotti's show with locals. 2-Mariotti always left 45 min & finished the show with a taping he made earlier. This was to accomodate Around the Horn. This pissed just about everybody off at both the local & national levels. 3-The station mgr is convinced that a full live local broadcast will beat Mariotti's ratings. They are eager to get started. SoxFan562004
Mac, Jurko, and Harry talked about King Douche a little today. Basically when Assface left management told them not to talk about it (That day it was Harry with Mac and Jurko's brothers). Today they talked about it a little, seems like they were probably told to watch what they say. You can tell Mac is very happy he's gone, basically said he was in San Diego when he heard the news and had a celebratory drink. Then Mac took some more time to rip on Kornheiser (sp?). Those two hate each other, and Mac can't let it go.

I didnt take his comment exactly like that. I took it more like he was so indifferant that Jay was gone that he just kept on doin what he was doin. But both interpertation have the smae meaning behind it, he could care less that Jay is gone.

Basically the guy who hired him left and he had no supporters at the station. But I don't care the end result makes me happy, hopefully sun-times will follow suit! WHarris1
ROFLMFAO. On M,J,&H they are doing this thing called the dead pool where people call in a give a prediction for someone who will die soon. Someone said Mariotti. Later in the segment, talking about it being tasteless, the ony guy was like, come on, it's not like were rooting for them to be dead...except Mariotti.
