Scwible
Anyone else hear this? As the song was about to end, thank god, the crowd started to boo. She sounded horrible as you would think live without lip syncing and people had enough of it. To me it was hella funny and on Mike and Mike this morning they were playing it. I couldn't help but laugh at her for how horrible she sounds without studio help. It actually made my drive to school in the morning through the snow. HuskyCaucasian
I wonder if they were booing her or the whole halftime show. It all pretty much sucked.

Kid Gleason
I have a feeling she will not be lasting long. I saw part of a special on her the other day. I was disgusted by the fact that as her people were explaining to her what her debut CD cover would be like (street and keeping it real, I do believe were the words used), she was also going on about how nervous she was as she was also getting ready for her first time every playing live!!! Yeah, that's paying your dues. She deserves any trips, stumbles, and career suicides she makes.
LosMediasBlancas
C'mon, you guys are just jealous. Given the chance, you'd all do the same thing.
Kid Gleason
I can honestly say, no, I wouldn't. I have been kicked out of bands for not changing my style, and for sticking to what I believe in. I would rather not succeed than turn my back on what I believe is right. My music is too damn important and personal to me. It has never been about money, and it has never been about fame. Confederate_48
I was about to change the channel but she sucked so bad I knew they were gonna boo so I waited it out.
LosMediasBlancas
There is one major difference, you probably have talent, she does not. So, basically a record exec. came up to her and said "look, you have little to no talent, but with the help of 'the marketing machine', you are gonna sell a few million records, do a few tours and make enough money in 5 years to retire on, if you're smart with it". Now if you're her, you'd jump all over it. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jan 5, 2005 -> 04:17 PM) C'mon, you guys are just jealous. Given the chance, you'd all do the same thing. Kid Gleason
Obviously if I was her I would, but you said "we" would. Obviously, she did it. I am also not so sure I have talent, as I am sure you have no idea who I am, and I think if I had some talent somebody might know of me. Talent doesn't have so much to do with it, as integrity does. But yeah, she has no talent. She can't even dance worth a damn, as she has a knack for showing the world everytime she steps on a stage. Not saying I can dance, as a matter of fact, I know I cant', and this is why there is ZERO footage of me dancing.

But I would lock myself away from the press and i'd stay as far away from anything live as possible... I saw the clip. It was pretty bad... She was looking totally hot on that New Years Rocking Eve though...

LosMediasBlancas
So would I, in a heartbeat. Put that clothes on, pretend to sing and jump around like an idiot for 5 years and then laugh my way to the bank? No problema. I'd need lots of press, bad press too, the best kind. She's hideous dude, has a nose like a foot and an awkward body. QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Jan 5, 2005 -> 05:29 PM) Speaking as a guy with absolutely so talent musically yes I would do it. CanOfCorn
QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jan 5, 2005 -> 05:37 PM) She's hideous dude, has a nose like a foot and an awkward body. That made me laugh. What I wonder, though, is how much of this is her father's doing. He seems like a weasel. He has one very talented daughter (although I personally am not fond of her music, I am fond of her lungs ) and one not-so-talented daughter. I wonder if he leveraged Jessica's talent to get Ashlee this record deal. And, having been through Waco, there isn't much "street" there. Kid Gleason
I should come clean here though, I only take this stance on music though. I would probably whore my self out in some other way if I could, but music is a bit sacred to me. If there was someway of faking a sport or something, no problem. Gene Honda Civic
Wow, I had no idea she was THAT bad -- I changed the channel as soon as the country guy started singing -- How long until her "acid reflux" is blamed for those squeels she was trying to pass as musical notes? What's absolutely amazing is there are people who wasted $10 or more to subject themselves to that, on purpose.
LosMediasBlancas
Of course her Dad did, she's just a spin off of her sister's talent.
