wasnt their some rumors of us getting the chargers OC if that could happen id go for it give him as much as Lovie contract wise if thats what it will take to get a real OC in here.... and if Lovie ever gets fired our next head coach better be a guy who knows what to do on offense... we can just keep Rivera as our DC

I hated the guy as the coach of our team because he couldn't recruit and didn't know a thing about defense. If his defensive coordinator didn't get the job done, the defense sucked.

But if there is one thing RT can do, it's run a pro style offense. He can develop a QB...ok not this year, but Kittner...and he has had some fine receivers under him. He is a terrible college coach, but a pretty damn good offensive coordinator, in my opinion. Don't connect Illinois' woes with the possibility of Turner being an offensive coordinator, because that's just ignorant.

In four seasons working with the Chicago Bears, Turner coordinated an offense that improved every season, breaking the club record for passing yards with 233 yards per game in 1995 and producing a 1,000-yard receiver and rusher in the same season. The diversity of the Turner offense in Chicago found success under four different quarterbacks in Jim Harbaugh (1993), Steve Walsh (1994), Erik Kramer (1995) and Dave Krieg (1996). In 1994, the Bears led the NFC Central Division for much of the regular season and defeated division rival Minnesota, 35-18, in a first-round playoff game.
