babybearhater
The Dodgers are negotiating with free agent Esteban Loaiza. They only plan to sign him if the Shawn Green trade goes through. The arrival of Loiaza would leave just one rotation spot for Edwin Jackson and Kazuhisa Ishii, assuming that Brad Penny is healthy. FlaSoxxJim
Cool, that means I'll see him pitch at Dogertown down here in ST. Hopefully he can get back to looking like the 2003 vintage again.

Chisoxfn
This is a good pickup. He'll be a fan favorite if he pitches anything near what he did two years ago for the Sox. I'm assuming they' finally inked Odalis Perez cause the papers out here said all that stuff was premature.
raff
good for everybody. good guy. he should do okay in LA.
bjm676
Can't wait for him to possibly pitch against us in June at the Cell. He'll probably put up '03 numbers.
AngelasDaddy0427
I think this is a great thing for Esteban. He can put up monster numbers in a pitchers part and finally get that huge contract he's already dreamed about.

hi8is
according to rotoworld at 11:41 AM Thrusday January 6th "Free agent Esteban Loaiza will not be playing in the MLB nor any Mexican League. This is due to the fact that some outside source, beleved to be a Califiornian named Trevor Caesar, has bought Esteban's services for a reported 3 year 24 million dollar deal. Mr. Caesar plans to use Esteban for his 7 year old sons batting pratice."

Apparently Rotoworld also forgot how he was one of the best Yankees pitchers in the ALCS (which doesn't say alot).
