I am not quite sure to be honest.  We have all cats, and have dealt almost always with Frieds cat shelter or with Dr Reed, a vet in Porter.  My in-laws have always adopted dogs though and they get them somewhere in Porter County, and have had awesome luck.  Let me ask my wife or them and get you some info.

Cool. Thanks a lot.

Mike...seeing as how you live in Michigan City and you probably know your "hood" well, what is the Animal Shelter there like (if you have ever been to it)? We want to adopt another dog and the shelters near my are going dry.

My family got two dogs from there. One lived to be like 12 or 13, the one we have now is 15 or 16. So I'd say that the track record is pretty good.

I could never get a tatoo.  I have enough trouble when I go to the doctors and have to give blood.  I absolutely hate needles.

WASHINGTON, W.Va. -- A West Virginia mother was killed when she was run over by her own SUV, as she was trying to save her kids.

She was trying to stop the SUV from rolling down a hill with two of her children inside Tuesday.

Officials said the 25-year-old woman had gotten out of the vehicle with one of her children while two others were inside. One of the children got behind the wheel and put the Dodge Durango in gear. It started coasting off a driveway and Andrea Johnson got behind it to try to stop it.

Officials said the woman fell after about 75 feet, went under the vehicle and was dragged about 50 feet before ending up in a drainage ditch. She was pronounced dead at a hospital.

The sport utility vehicle then crossed a road, went over an embankment and hit a tree. The children were not injured.

OMG :pray

I can't imagine wanting to still have the same thing on my skin, say 10 or 15 years from now. I'm glad I didn't get the tattos I had in mind when I was younger, I'd sure feel like a moron now.

I'm the same way, but in my younger rebelious years I broke down and got something. The worst part is the first minute, than it goes numb and you hardly feel anything.
