redandwhite
That was fast. I vision Randy Johnson imploding just like Kevin Brown did last season. Welcome to New York you jackass.

YASNY
Johnson wanted to go to New York. New Yorkers can be pushy. New York media takes pushiness to a new level. Enjoy NY, Johnson.

New York media takes pushiness to a new level. Enjoy NY, Johnson. I was just thinking I wonder if he is regretting not going to Chicago or somewhere quieter than NY. EvilJester99
Its been said RJ has always been a jag off...they debated who was the bigger stroke...RJ or Schilling?? Schilling is just in love with himself and his "Greatness" RJ is just a grumpy fukka.
Texsox
I remember during the D-backs love fest most people said Shilling loved the media spotlight and RJ just wanted to fade into the background. Like someone his size can. I've never really resolved in my mind what responsibility a player has to the media. Just how valid is the statement that the media represents the fans and how they treat the media is how they are treating the fans who are paying for all this? Does the player have more of a duty if the reporter always prints nice stuff about the team, or should all reporters be treated the same? Can the team dictate to the players who, when, and what to say?

LosMediasBlancas
I think he is foolishly trying to give off a 'I know this is NY, but I'm RJ and I will not be f***ed with" vibe right from the start. This will only make it worse. Anyone see the NY Post headline? "Big Jerk" Poor Sucka.

Yoda
Big Unit Apologies for Cameraman Scrape "I'd first like to once again reiterate: The situation yesterday, it was unprofessional," Johnson said, "and obviously I feel very foolish today at such a great moment of my career that I would have to stand before you and apologize for my actions. Hopefully it's water under the bridge." Johnson added: "Yesterday, my actions were uncalled for. I'm sorry. I hope I can move on and can get another chance to prove that I'm worth coming here." santo=dorf
see sig.... Randy has talked about how Curt Schilling acted like a hall of fame pitcher even though he (Curt) knew that Randy was the better pitcher between the two. I also recall David Segui being stupid enough to pick a fight with him back in Seattle.

But he could probably take just about any pitcher.
