CanOfCorn
Per Roto: Orioles signed RHP James Baldwin to a minor league contract and invited him to spring training. There's no harm in signing him. Well, he could bean one of the Orioles' good young hitters in spring training. But then, he doesn't really throw hard enough to hurt anyone and the Orioles don't actually have any good young hitters. So, no harm. It's good to see the lost Baldwin brother working again. Keep on keepin' on, James.

qwerty
QUOTE(whitesox91403 @ Jan 11, 2005 -> 05:28 PM) I really liked Baldwin when he was here. Maybe it is just me but i do not like pitchers with an era over five in their career.

It didn't really have anything to do with his numbers. He was just one of those players that I liked and hoped would be better. Just me. Sirotka's injuries were just too much. His arm couldn't handle much of anything.
