SoxFan562004
always nice to nail down one of the stud SS's, but with A-Rod no longer eligible it's a bigger crap shoot. Tejada isn't horrible... I always tend to stay away from pitchers that high (I would rather have 5-7 games a week than maybe 2). Although I had RJ one year when he was unreal and it helped... but I was in a points league, not a rotoleague. I've always had good luck with middle of the rotation starters, so I've never really relied on the "marquee" pitchers. I would suggest not going OF with it, because I've found there's a ton of OF value in the mid to late rounds.
ChWRoCk2
i would take either beltran or pujols
TheBlackSox8
position players-Pujols, Bonds, Tejada, Soriano, Beltre/Rolen(if you think beltre was a fluke), Beltran, Ramirez, A-Rod, Ichiro, Pudge pitchers-Johnson, Schilling, Martinez, Oswalt, Mulder, Hudson, Mussina, Schmidt, Sheets, Santana, Rivera, Gagne, Isringhausen, Kolb the above players should be the top picks in a draft at their respective positions....i'm sure i missed a few important people....but i just figured for ten to twelve person league....these players would be the ones picked in the first round if you go by position neccesity by each manager. farmteam
Pujols would be my choice. On another note, I can't wait until signups start for the Soxtalk leagues. I'm hoping to get into a keeper one that's starting up.
qwerty
In rotoleagues pujols is taken first like 91% of the time. Something ridiculous like that.
maggsmaggs
Pujouls as well, good health history and only getting better. Also,
aboz56
It's way too early to have a draft, is what I think.
backman
did anyone else notice betran got all this money for 2 weeks of spectaculars? dont get me wrong he a good player but a great one? he was with kansas city he did good but they didnt. so they trade him to houston were he's fixed up with a better team with better players he has a great two weeks and wines up with 112 mill from the mets. the mets! not a bad team, a young team, but i see the mets much like the kanas city royals, i dont a 112 million dollar player, he cant single handily propel a bad team into the playoffs (the giants) byhimself (like barry bonds), but thats what i believe i would pick up pujols he seems to do everything, also randy johnson is a solid 9 strikeouts a game low era, and is rarely injured. DBAHO
Pujols would probably be the guy to go after, I took A-Rod 2nd in a draft last year, and he ended up finishing the 10th best player I think. If it's a pitcher, Schmidt or Santana would be my picks.
ChWRoCk2
im willing to bet that pujols is probably ranked one
Nokona
Gotta be Pujols, with that lineup for a full year he could have a monster season.
