Brad Penny is expected to be traded during the offseason.

In fact, the Marlins might even package Penny with Preston Wilson, so desperate are they to rid themselves of Wilson's contract and any expensive players.

I'd like to see the sox go after penny!!! I love that guy.

i don't know about penny. picking wilson up to play cf for 3.5 mil, a ba of 265 lifetime and except for last yr a 30/30 person. not too shabby.

but if they are desperate, why not go for one of there other sp and we will throw in a prospect but not rauch.

I don't want Wilson because of his 170 plus strikeouts he will guarantee us every year. I don't like having strikeout hitters in a lineup, cause I think it completely ruins it.

As far as Penny goes, he'd fit in nicely, but he isn't truly a given proven #2 pitcher.

he got 110 k's and 100 runs with 23+ hrs for an off hrs in the rbi total. but think about it, 3.5 mil a yr, plus one of their young pitchers in a trade with us for lets say 'of' and a pit prospect.

you will regret saying that thomas is goin to be a stud next year i think our offense will be better next year more consistint and more runs a big part due to frank and the youngsters the pitching staff looks decent right now i think and if we pick up a 1-2 starting pitcher i think we can take the al central

Brad Penny would be a good pitcher for us. We need GOOD pitching no matter how we can get it. I watched the game today, Twins VS. Angels, they both showed good pitching.

Hopefully, Joe Kennedy get traded to us because I think he will be a good pitcher and a good left handed starter behind our lefty ACE Mark Buerhle.

so here are the stats of wilson for his career and he makes 3.5 mil. what is sooo hard to see that this guy can help and if fl is sooo hard up to get rid of him,, we can put a package to get him and a pit.

Your not listening to me. The Sox can put together a package to get any player they want. The point is they won't so stop wasting your time thinking about it.

oh ok
