Jesus, 3 hours later we finally get some food.  Thats after server Gage grabs the menus to seat ourselves

Well we know if that CPA proves to be too difficult, you have a future in food service... at least more of one than that horrible host. :chair

I would pay to fire the entire management staff at Connie's Pizza. :P

I'm with you on that one. It took about 3 hours to get a table and there were 3 of us. It sucked. Actually, I think I saw you guys there, I was too shy to say anything, but I could tell that you guys were as annoyed as we were.

You should have said something. We really are a friendly group, dispite what the Connies staff did to change that.

I should have, but like I said I can be pretty shy. Also, I was hungry, tired, and annoyed, not a good combination... So you see, I spared y'all from pissed off Chris...a very scary thing :)

SECURITY!!!

In all seriousness, I think I have learning in going to five or six Soxfests now, is the more people you meet, the more fun it is. I highly recommend hooking up with as many people as possible at these things. That goes for the ballpark as well.

As I'm reading this thread, I can't believe you guys waited 3 hours for a pizza. Man I would have just walked out of the place quite frankly, of course the pizza down here probably isn't as good.

It is kinda one of those things that just keeps getting longer everytime we talk about it... Wait a minute what was I just talking about ?:lolhitting

I don't know about the rest of you but I waited three hours cause I was hungry and the nearest thing I could find that I could afford.

Also, I guess this summer I'll have to try to hook up with some of you at games. I'm sure it'll be an awesome time. :)

Note to both of you:

Always say hi to a fellow Soxtalk member, I know I would have loved to say hello to both of you.

Aboz, I saw you like a million times, basically every autograph line I was in you were there too and then I saw you during a couple of the seminars also. Anyways I wanted to say hi just really didn't know how. Hopefully they'll be some soxtalk tailgates this year where I can meet up with you guys.

You don't have to know how my friend, just come up and say hi. I'm not gonna be an ass or anything, you've only gotta worry about Gage doing that. :P

Anyhow, look forward to seeing you at a tailgate next season when I am up.

I really wish I could have gone to soxtalk and meet some of you guys. Hopefully some time this season I'll meet all of ya. I know for sure I'll be at the game on April 16 @ Seattle. It's the first Saturday home game, might be a little cold out there but i dont care. As long as I'm there in the flesh watchin the sox, I'm good.

After venturing onto ebay looking to see if anyone was selling their "sox pride" wristbands, I was very surprised to see that people are paying up to $9 a bracelet for them. The same ones that we all just paid $2 for this past weekend.

Run an ebay search of sox pride and plenty will come up.

Kinda makes me sick to see people capitalizing off of something that is going to charity, but to each his own I suppose.
