Spiff
So if they win it's because of Manning, but if they lose it's not Manning's fault? Ok.

They don't win or lose because of Manning. Like I said before, it takes a team. 52 men. Not one.

Let's see what the numbers are at the end of the game. Peyton's numbers in the first NE game of the season: 16/29, 256 Yds, 2 TDs, 1 INT...Colts lost 27-24. Peyton's numbers in the loss to JAX: 27/39, 368 Yds, 3 TDs, 0 INTs....Colts lost 27-24. Peytons numbers in the loss to KC: 25/44, 472 Yds, 5 TDs, 1 INT...Colts lost 45-35. I guess it's Peyton's fault that we lost those games..... :rolly :headshake

I know Peyton blew that game last year, but to say every game is Peyton's fault is f***tarded. Like hammer has said, it takes a team. danman31
What's so great about his numbers against NE this year? Those aren't spectacular or anything. I think the Pats will win because they have the better team and the better scheme. People have fallen in love with this Colts offense for the simple fact that they haven't been stopped much all year, especially not since they lost to the Pats. The Pats are at home and they have a defense, neither of which the Colts can say.

Brady plays for the better TEAM. Brady doesn't have to do much at the QB position to get the Pats a win, because they have a solid defense. Trent Dilfer would be the next Joe Montana, if he was in New England. Peyton gets blamed for a lot of things that he can't help. Peyton didn't give up the 24 to NE and JAX, and the 45 to KC this year.
danman31
Brady went 26-38 for 335 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT against the Colts. When you factor in the opposing defenses Brady should be able to have a better game.

I think NE's defense is depeleted enough that Indy can get the job done. The field's not going to make a big difference tomorrow. The field's been covered the past couple nights, and it's supposed to be a dry 35 degrees tomorrow. Peyton had a pretty decent game in the first week of the season, and Indy's been on a roll since. I think Indy's hot enough right now, and NE's depleted enough in the corners that Indy will put up more points in the game.

Elcaballo45
Im thinking of putting some money on this game, but I dont know any bookies (how do you spell that). Anyway, anyone know any good online betting sites. I would think the Pats would be favored by 3 or so in this game, and I would love to take Indy and those 3 points. backman
indy almost won with there less then average defense in the first game of the year, and indy has made great strides up to this point and has a much better defense with the sack leader dfree and a more confident secondary, that plays the short pass. plus, troy brown will be two tired chasing indys recivers and running back the many many kickoffs, to burn any of indies corners. Troy Brown doesn't run back kickoffs, but nice try anyway. Less than average defense? Try 29th in the league. Robert Mathis is questionable. The Patriots have Corey Dillon now. But whatever people wanna think is fine by me.
backman
a indy touchdown to start off the game a few punts for new england one more touchdown for indy and bam you already have to abanden your running game (new england), new england will be forced to pass, and any defense no matter what their rank, can stop something if they know its coming. Rex Hudler
Looks as if the weather has taken a turn for the worse. There is now a Winter Storm Advisory issued beginning at 4pm Eastern time with snow and 10-20 mph winds. Snow accumulation is not expected until tonight, but it could begin before the end of the game. Temps are still expected to be in the low 30's, but the weather combined with a frozen field may make things tougher for the Colts. Either way, I expect a great game.
