WilliamTell
This a one crazy game going on. Doubt OT now but when it looked like the Hoosiers were going to pull it off, Purdue makes a basket and gets fouled. But misses the free throw. Pretty good basketball game. Goldmember
QUOTE(He_Gawn @ Jan 15, 2005 -> 01:34 PM) He called the foul later than the light. doesn't matter when he called it. it's still a foul and still counted and indy still looks like they are gonna win this game so it doesnt really matter. WilliamTell
I guess I didn't care who won the game. But it's always fun seeing rivals battle like that.
greasywheels121
First time since 1966 both teams were below .500 when they met up for a game. No matter what the records are for this game, it's always a classic.

Didn't think that was possible! Um, IU has D.J. White for a few more years, that and Bracey Wright should be gone in one or two. We're optimistic here in Bloomington. I don't know too many Hoosier fans that are optimistic unless they are praying for the firing of Mike Davis, which will happen despite some miracle in the next month and a half. greasywheels121
QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Jan 16, 2005 -> 11:20 AM) I don't know too many Hoosier fans that are optimistic unless they are praying for the firing of Mike Davis, which will happen despite some miracle in the next month and a half. We'll see. As Bilas and O'Brien were saying, the selection committee would really see us as an 8-6 team rather than a 7-7 team at the moment (the Charlotte game). If we make the tourney somehow, I think Davis will still be here.

If we make the tourney somehow, I think Davis will still be here. Greasy, I really think it will take more than that, but I still don't see us ending up with a good enough record to get there. IU's brass will have to decide at the end of the season whether to commit an additional $300,000 to Davis. I just can't see that helping him if they are on the fence at all.
