Bulls Chairman Jerry Reinsdorf told WGN-Ch. 9 in an interview to be aired Sunday that he envisions the team's current nucleus to have staying power and that the team would try to re-sign restricted free agents Tyson Chandler and Eddy Curry this summer.

"I would assume they'd be back," Reinsdorf told sportscaster Rich King in an interview for "Instant Replay."

"I wouldn't see why the top six or seven players on our roster wouldn't be together for the long term. I can see this nucleus staying together for 10 years."

Thats good news from JR. At least he TRIES to spend money on 1 of his teams. *Sigh*

Seriously though, I hope they can resign both. It was keep the team motivated. It's really great that Curry has tepped up his offense and Tyson is turning into a defensive monster!

Chandler realistically can be every bit as good as ben wallace if he gets the right amount of minutes. The last 5-10 games his block numbers have been sick. He is also an on of the elite rebounders in the league. Next year he needs to get 35 minutes per game not 28, then we can really see what type of player he is gonna be.

The Bulls attendence is almost as much as the White Sox, and at a much higher price point. If the Sox were netting 90% of capacity for their attendence, their payroll would be much, much higher.
