toasty
QUOTE(chi-guy2 @ Jan 18, 2005 -> 09:14 PM) i thought cora signed, saw it on the espn ticker, and im confused, you dont want aurilia who is decent, but you want larkin who will retire in a year or two larkin should have retired a year or two ago
witesoxfan
QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jan 18, 2005 -> 08:56 PM) Rich Aurilia had 1 good season. I'll take Iguchi. FWIW, that's one more good season then Iguchi has ever had in the major leagues
Steve Bartman's my idol
Polanco re-upped with Philadelphia yesterday.
JUGGERNAUT
The Angels are looking at Aurelia so I think this is doubtful for the Sox. We need a UIF badly right now. If you look at the depth chart that role is being played by Uribe & Valdez.
DBAHO
QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Jan 19, 2005 -> 05:15 PM) FWIW, that's one more good season then Iguchi has ever had in the major leagues And that was a few seasons ago. Aurilla could be a chance to actually hit at the Cell though, his last 2 stops at Safeco and PETCO aren't hitters parks at all. But we all know signing Iguchi is a risk, but if it pays off, which personally I think it will, it could help put this team over the top in the division. I still think we need to make some more moves in order to do that.
