My wife is a HUGE U2 fan, and the have tickets going on sale on Saturday.  They are having a presale for members of their fan club right now.  Is anyone out there in it?  If they are could I work out a big favor to try to get tickets through them???

Presale was Tuesday, iirc. And a mess from what I've heard.

Whatever you do... don't get tickets for the concert on the 7th... you are busy that night.

And what is May 7th anyway?

Perhaps they started on Tuesday..? I heard a bit of it from the news this morning about some fiasco with the server.. ticketmaster was all screwed up.

May 7th is "made day" Jimmy Zooks style.. ;)

They did add a 3rd show in Chicago and we got great tickets :headbang

That would make an awesome wedding gift...

Just kidding... no real desire to see them.

Five bucks is too much for really bad hip hop.

Yeah, especially if you consider a revolutionary band that has reinvented themselves multiple times, who's been around for over 20 years and sold millions of records, including one of the best albums ever produced (Paul's Boutique) to be "really bad hip hop". :finger :bringit

I understand and appreciate their influence and popularity, but I also have no interest in listening to them.

I wouldn't call it bad, just uninteresting to me personally. They sound like 3 Flavor Flav's to me.
