And a mess from what I've heard. Whatever you do... don't get tickets for the concert on the 7th... you are busy that night.

Perhaps they started on Tuesday..? I heard a bit of it from the news this morning about some fiasco with the server.. ticketmaster was all screwed up. May 7th is "made day" Jimmy Zooks style.. bjm676
http://www.suntimes.com/output/entertainme...t-ftr-u227.html $165 for tickets. Those are just for nosebleeds.
southsider2k5
Ouch. Nevermind. I paid $95 to see Paul McCartney a couple years ago at the UC, and I'm not about to spend almost double that for U2.

Cerbaho-WG
I was planning on seeing U2, but I'd suggest lowering ticket prices and get back to making decent music. It's been a decade of absolute s*** albums, and "How To Dismantle..." almost takes the cake on s***ty pop-rock retreads.
The Bones
$165 for tickets and the music business wonders why it's struggling. I paid about $50 for the Beastie Boys and it was almost too much for me even though I was on the floor.
LosMediasBlancas
Actually the best seats, just like their last tour, are the cheapest, ground floor is only like $50.00 I think. Those will probably be gone, only 3rd tier will be left for sale.
southsider2k5
Well we got $95 tickets that are a little behind the stage for Monday. We are going to try to see if they add another show, if that is the case, we are going to try for those and ebay these tickets...
southsider2k5
They did add a 3rd show in Chicago and we got great tickets

Yeah, especially if you consider a revolutionary band that has reinvented themselves multiple times, who's been around for over 20 years and sold millions of records, including one of the best albums ever produced (Paul's Boutique) to be "really bad hip hop". :finger

I wouldn't call it bad, just uninteresting to me personally. They sound like 3 Flavor Flav's to me.
