Whitewashed in '05
I was reading an article from espn.com about how Brian Anderson from KC has probably the best pick off move and on there the Padres coach Rob Picciolo mentions how Anderson and a few others like Buehrle have such good pitch outs you don't notice them trying to pick u off. It isn't a big deal but its good to see some players on the sox getting some positive recognition. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1977698

Whitewashed in '05
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jan 28, 2005 -> 10:11 PM) I think it's pretty universally known that Buehrle has a sick pick-off move. The point I am trying to make is that a lot of players on the sox have their own great talents that stand out but it isn't always seen on magazines like it would be for any other popular organization. Kalapse
A couple days ago they were talking about the best base stealers in baseball on ESPN. They talked about Juan Pierre, Carlos Beltran, Carl Crawford, Bobby Abreu and Ichiro, not even a mention of Scott Podsednik even though he led the majors with 70 last season. s*** like that just pisses me off so it's good to see a Sox player get a little credit every once in a while. Good for Mark.
3E8
One time in Colt league I walked three batters, but picked them all off after they got on. No joke, it was amazing. My move was always a borderline balk, but I'm not sure those umps even knew the 45 degree line rule.
