i dont know about you's, but im soooo sick of magg$. i cant stand all this talk about the cubs getting him or the Tigers. hes a liar and i cant stand him. Magg$ lied numerous times such as 1)saying the sox got his medical records, they never did. his trainer even said so to, that magg$ said not to say anything to the sox. 2)he told the cubs that he would sign for a hometown discount. not anymore. why the change of heart?3) that his #1 priority is winning. yea thats why hes close to signing with detroit. he told boras to make them an offer.4)he told melvin mora that the orioles were his 1st choice. didnt he tell the cubs thay they were his 1st choice? 5) he said money isnt the important thing. yea thats why he hired boras and turned down the sox's offer. 6) said that the soxs offer was filled with all deferred money. only one yr. was.

plain and simple, Magg$ did not want to stay and money was #1. :chair

i found it interesting that in the suntimes it said that when magg$ and harris were on the ground in pain and ozzie went out to see if they were ok, ozzie said to "sign that contract now', magg$ just grinned while in pain. i guess ozzie was right :D

I hate Jagglio.

I doubt he'll ever play like he did before.

And, if he does eventually recover fully in a year or two, he'll be 32 or 33 with only a few years left before age catches up to him.

People forget that he's not young like Beltran who is just entering his prime years.

I hope whoever signs him, regrets it.

He is probably the greediest s.o.b. I can think of. I wouldn't have cared if he wasn't such a liar. He could have just said that he wanted to test free agency and was going to the highest bidder - don't talk all that crap about wanting to play for the White Sox.

f*** Jagglio!

OOO-EE-OOO TAD-A-HIT-O !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's my take on it:

I'm grateful.

I'm grateful for the memories of Magglio in a Sox uniform.

I'm grateful that he DIDN'T take the Sox' offer before his knee blew out.

I'm grateful that the White Sox decided to try a different approach rather than trotting out the exact same lineup with the exact same result as the past 4 years.

I don't hate Magglio, and I don't wish him any ill will....except an 0-for-any series he plays against the Sox.

Right On :headbang

I'm proposing that we lay to rest any more Magglio threads unless it is news of him signing in the rumors thread. (Kind of like a mock Magglio funeral, similiar to what Weber did last year for Self)

The Magglio era on the Sothside of Chicago is over.

Let it be written.

Let it be done.
