LosMediasBlancas
What's the plan for him this season? Last I heard he was cut from the Mexican League and it's been quiet ever since. Did we move him, did I miss it?

Wong & Owens
QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Feb 1, 2005 -> 12:10 PM) What's the plan for him this season? Last I heard he was cut from the Mexican League and it's been quiet ever since. Did we move him, did I miss it? I believe he will be the starting right fielder for the Henry's Pizza Rebels, an Orland Park 16" softball team.
LosMediasBlancas
How about long term?........ he'll likely never play for us and he has no trade value. Even as part of a package deal come the trade deadline, I just don't see it. QUOTE(EvilJester99 @ Feb 1, 2005 -> 05:12 PM) No he will be a starter in Charlotte
quade36
No he will have trade value. He is a switch hitter and has great power and good speed. I could see someone trading mid ranged prospects for him.

T R U
I wish the astros would look into Borchard, they need a CFer now with Beltran gone and I think Borchard would do well in Minute Maid Park, another very hitter friendly place.. Marte, even though he has failed in what he was brought here to do.. CLOSE Olivo? (He was good in AA, did not do squat in the majors for us) Uribe(kid has one good year and everyone wants to throw him in HOF) Garcia, how is getting ass reemed a good deal,(I fail to see how losing Georgues george and ten grand as a good deal. )

Schueler was known for not making any trades until midseason, and when he did, he usually f***ed it up. Blecher was a good mid-season pick up. If he did what all the fans wanted he'd have given up Ruffcorn and/or Baldwin. At the time no one knew they'd be as bad as they were but he didn't give up the highly regarded prospects to get Belcher. Bob
