JDsDirtySox
If you had to choose the destination of Ordonez, which would you rather see happen. Obviously I would rather see someone like the Mets come charging in, but if it has to be one of these two... which one is it?

JDsDirtySox
QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Feb 1, 2005 -> 12:44 PM) Where is the other Button? I understand... thats why it says if it has to be one or the other.
Kalapse
Detroit, why not let a division rival blow their money with a long term contract on an injured player.

mreye
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Feb 1, 2005 -> 01:57 PM) Detroit, why not let a division rival blow their money with a long term contract on an injured player. It would be more fun to see the Cubs do that.
TheBlackSox8
let's face maggs 19 times.....oh wait...he's been injured, so probably less than 19 times. I think the Cubs are more of a rival than the Tigers are to the Sox....don't want him going to rivals..
LosMediasBlancas
NL West, some team out there has to need an OF, right? right?
ShySox72
I'd rather see him go to Detriot then the Chubbies. I'd be so pissed if Maggs had a good season for the Cubs. I'd rather see him do well in Detriot because I still think they'll suck with a Maggs at 100%
SuperSteve
I say NY, but Mags just can never be a Cubs, ever.
WilliamTell
I'd say the Tigers also.
AngelasDaddy0427
IMO I want him to join the cubs. That way when his knee goes out we can laugh at them for signing the fraud and he will ensure they miss they playoffs. Way more comical for it to happen to the scrubbies. shakes
I hope he goes to Detroit. He wanted big money, now hew can get it. Enjoy living in Detroit and living in the cellar.
RockRaines
I just like hearing cubs fans grasp for something positive in their offseason. With maggs gone, it looks like they swapped an overpayed strike out player, for another overpayed strike out player. And paid the salary of the one they let go. I love watching the cubs fans squirm, let the tigers have him.
tonyho7476
If the Cubs did well, and maggs had a good year for them, it would suck. The Tigers will stink with Maggs...go to the Tigers Maggs...let them waste their money. I want to see the Cubs get Burnitz, that will guarantee they finish third in the division. :finger They would be better off with Sosa, idiots! AirScott
Tigers, no doubt. Maggs isn't healthy, if I'm not mistaken they won't give out his medical records. he won't be what the Tigers (or any team) pay for, and I'd rather have him keeping down a team in our division. Mathew
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Feb 1, 2005 -> 02:24 PM) . BTW, I think it is ridiculous to call a team we play 3 times a year a bigger rival than we see 19. Thats just plain stupidity. I think it's 6 times a year sin't it? Still I get your point. TheBlackSox8
does magglio want to go to an extreme pitchers park where his power stats will struggle....you'd think he'd want to go somewhere where it's even for batters and pitchers...just to get respectable stats to show that he is still capable. ihatethecubs
imo, the tigers hands down. i couldnt stand watchin maggs play for the cubs.
Gene Honda Civic
I can't beleive how lopsided the voting is... I'd rather see him on the Cubs.... He's not gonna hurt us there. While I don't think the Tigers are anything this year, with or without maggs, picking him up makes them a serious threat in '06 and down the road. Especially when KW discovers that the fast guys who can't hit suck.
whitesox91403
I voted for The Cubs too. Something tells me that eventually this guy is going to be back and putting up his usual numbers. Less damage to The Sox if he's on The Northside.

santo=dorf
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Feb 1, 2005 -> 05:26 PM) OMG thank you Cheat. Why is it so hard to get that Maggs at 19 times a year is A LOT worse than Maggs 6 times a year????? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Because he's also playing the Twins and Indians 19 times a year. Don't you get sick of seeing Detroit laying down for the Twins?
witesoxfan
I say Japan. Or Mexico. Or Europe. Not America(or Toronto) If I had to make the choice...I'd probably say the Cubs. He will care more about getting us back then he will getting Cleveland, Minnesota, and KC.
