Is anybody else astounded by the remarkable similarity in style at the plate between Jiminez and Roberto Alomar.  Now I am not saying the he is as good as Alomar or ever will be...but the two look identical swinging the bat.

I've thought that myself....... and who knows D'angelo could be THAT good.

As I type this Milton Bradley doubles to right.

jose's bat gets shattered on a weak liner to first..damn he is having a rough day

Damn he could easily been 3 for 3 today. It seems like has at least one line-out every game. I know he had 2 in the first game at KC to go 0 fer. Crazy stuff.

Meanwhile, Indians just went ahead 2-1. 2002 flashbacks.

I like Jimenez's swing. I sure hope one day he ends up being as good as Alomar. I'm sure many will say that he's already got kind of an attitude like Robby.

Thomas has no batspeed. Just the last at-bat a 38yo Burks fouled off a couple 95+ mph fastballs out of the zone...a "new and improved" Hurt couldn't handle a 92 mph one RIGHT DOWN BROADWAY. Unreal.

Sorry, but you can't buy batspeed. Frank may be washed up.
