SoxFan1
Man, Surgery really took a toll on Jimmy. I wish him luck. I kind of liked him, until he started complaining!
southsider2k5
Jim Parque is getting pounded? HA HA! Mr "I am too good for AAA" Now the only team that would have you is a professional AAA team. Ah sometimes things just work out perfectly!
Chisoxfn
Eyre all of a sudden pulled like a 96 mph fastball out of his butt cause he never had that when he was with the Sox. I know it was one of the reasons he stuck on with San Fran late last season. I'm very happy with Glover though.

cwsox
I always liked Parque and his arrirude and I wish him every good thing in TB except when he plays us - he's a plucky guy and I hope it works for him
1549
Speaking of Scott Eyre, how many garbage lefty relievers did we have in the late 90's? Larry Thomas, Scott Eyre,Tom Fordham,Tod Rizzo, Bryan Ward, Dave Lundquist are the first names that pop into my head. Also whatever happened to Pat Daneker, I saw him have a decent start for the Sox in 99 and never heard his name again after...he must have really fallen off the face of the earth? baggio202
i did some research on eyre...he has been lights out with frisco..last year in 21 games a 1.79 era and was 6 for 6 in holds....this year in 4 games he has yet to give up a run and is 2 for 2 holds now (got one last night i guess) and also has a save...he is now sharing the closer role with tim worrell until nen gets back from the dl.... im really glad for eyre...he has a real bad case of ADD and it wasnt picked up on until he got to toronto...they got him on meds there and his performance improved alot ...now in san fran it looks like he has really found a home..great story
BrandoFan
Parque is what I call a "Triple Threat": no stuff; no control; lousy attitude. I hated that f***er. And I am not homophobic. He could give Ethan Hawke a run for his money as a "writer"
Rex Kickass
Jim Parque is gay?
MurcieOne
What does Parque's sexual preference have to do with his horrid pitching? And my mom worked with his wife.......so I doubt he's gay.

I always wondered about that too. I think he ended up in Milwaulkee or something like that. I just remember him getting either one or two starts and he did solid in both and then never saw him again. BridgeportHeather
Parque's gonna be living in hell there more than ever! Jerry Manuel rarely loses his temper; but, Pinnella does it all the time. If Parque doesn't get it together, he's gonna WISH he was in hell, because at least he wouldn't have to worry about getting his ass kicked in by Sweet Lou. BTW, when will Jerry Manuel TRULY get mad out there? Sometimes I think he and Dick Jauron are twins.
