DBAHO
Some more gems here from the man himself; "T.O., he came and did an excellent job. But that really took away from my play time and my opportunities." Mitchell also had some choice remarks about the Super Bowl itself and where it was played. "The game to me was more of a monopoly. The whole Super Bowl has become such a monopoly to make money rather than the game. I think they've gotten away from the game ... It's basically all about making money than anything else. I don't think nobody cares about the game anymore." As for the host city, Mitchell said: "Jacksonville had five years to prepare for this, and even with the preparing is it was a bad situation, and I can't believe the NFL handled it like that." He added: "What really annoyed me was Jacksonville, the city, taking advantage of it. The Comfort Inn suites were $500 a night for a regular room. Just the players' families -- everybody really got taken advantage of."
YASNY
QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Feb 10, 2005 -> 08:50 AM) Some more gems here from the man himself; Wow! A professional athlete complaining "It's all about the money". How ironic is that?
SuperSteve
Rodney Harrison would have given him what was coming, but he didn't actually touch the ball much. What happen Freddie, what happen?
The Critic
I heard some clips from One-Catch Freddie on Mike & Mike, went a little something like this: "I was open a trillion times, but nobody got me the ball" "The Patriots defensive backs are like little girls, all dramatic, too dramatic" Once again, I have to quote Jim Ross, the WWE announcer - my favorite thing he ever said is: "I'd like to buy him for what he's worth and sell him for what he thinks he's worth..." Kalapse
Freddie Mitchell should just shut the f*** up, you'd think by now he'd figure out that he sucks and noone gives a s*** about what he thinks.
CanOfCorn
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Feb 10, 2005 -> 07:15 PM) Freddie Mitchell should just shut the f*** up, you'd think by now he'd figure out that he sucks and noone gives a s*** about what he thinks. He just talked himself out of Philly and right into the arms of some crap-ass team as their 4th or 5th WR. What a dumbass.
