Wise Master Buehrle
The predictions seem pretty evened up this year, instead of us being the unanimous pick. I like it.
Jabroni
Dye had a .265-23-80 season in Oakland, so those numbers could increase with the move to U.S. Cellular, and Everett contributed little between nagging injuries after being acquired in a mid-season deal. Both are only 31, so it’s not as if they’re on the downside yet. Ummm, Jermaine Dye is 31 but Carl Everett is 33. That's a pretty bad mistake in the article there. Also I don't think it's a far reach that he picked the Cubs..they're pretty good I don't think the Cubs are going to win their division but I don't htink it's a reach, as Cheat has mentioned plenty of times, the NL Central isn't very good. GoodAsGould
yeah astro's are like an avg team this year kind of like tigers in our division and than pirates, brewers, and cincy are easy. But they do have a great 1 2 punch with the cardinals and cubs.
Melissa1334
theres nothing wrong with being the underdog, less pressure right? the cards werent expected to do s*** the cubs were favored to win the cental and w.s.....look who came out on top ........ :fthecubs
DBAHO
Well there goes our Underdog status, but really who cares. I couldn't care less who's predictes to come first in each division etc., the only thing that matters is actually being on top come October. Well, just cause NBC Sports guy picked us doesn't mean that's the consensus..he's like the only guy..so don't worry, we still have our underdog status If that really means anything.. Rowand44
Well, there's less then a week before pitchers and catchers report, nothing is really going on right now, all these publications are starting to make predictions. Anyone think it's time for the official soxtalk predictions thread?? or still to early?

witesoxfan
IIRC, we were the underdogs last year too...or if we weren't, we should have been. That didn't work out so well for us either. Who gives a flyin' f*** what the media has to say? If you give a s*** about that stuff, you've already lost half the battle.
