DonkeyKongerko
Tabbed browsing came from Mozilla so almost all spinoffs have it today including Firefox. The new Netscape browser is based on Firefox and could bring back the old days when Netscape was #1. That and if G-Browser ever comes out. Chisoxfn
QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Feb 13, 2005 -> 05:04 PM) Disclaimer: If you are sick and tired of hearing about Mozilla's Firefox, this thread isn't for you; if you'd like to help a fellow poster out, please read on. For those of you using Firefox: Are you satisfied? Is it worth switching over from Internet Explorer? I've heard nothing but great things and I've been thinking very seriously about switching over. Although I'm pretty satisified with Explorer, the pop ups and third party software are overwhelming (even with Google's pop up blocker). Do I make the switch? Dang right you should. Best browser available, bar none.
Chisoxfn
QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Feb 13, 2005 -> 05:12 PM) I think it's only me though, b/c whenever I ask someone about it they have no clue what I'm talking about. However, after I read a post or something, the thread still acts like it has new posts in it. That has to be some sort of cookie issue not stemming from mozilla, but I could be wrong. Chisoxfn
By slow, I'm assuming you guys are talking about how it usually takes a few more seconds to load up when you first open the browser? I'm not talking about slow load times in terms of visiting sites, just when you actually open the program. For me sometimes it loads slow and sometimes it loads pretty quick. Regardless I always had that same issue with IE. But the fact that I never ever ever see popups anymore makes Firefox my hero, LOL.
