AddisonStSox
I can't believe how excited I am for sping training; but, in the meantime, I was wondering what the starting rotation projections for 2006 and beyond might look like. For all of you guys who are big into contracts and free agents, could you put together your rotation projections for both 2006 and 2007? Some things to consider: White Sox free agents, free agent aquisitons, farm system, potential moves via trade, etc.
southsider2k5
Aren't all of the Sox starting pitchers signed for 2006 as well? I know Garland isn't, but we own his arbit rights. 2007 could be intereting though. Contreras and Hernandez could be gone, along with Garland hitting his FA years. Along with an team option for Buehrle that year that is worth $9.5 million. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1684024
AnthraxFan93
Addison, I almost spent 700 to go to Cubs spring training.. I jsut want to see some baseball.. They were playing the Sox one day.. I don't care I need my baseball.. MLB needs to run a channel like the NFL, and run games during the offseason. ANd to answer ur questions.. 06 should look the same as 05 07.. now that is scary, Marky b.. if he is not traded b4 hand Garica B-mac diaz That is if we keep in house and don't sign another pitcher, but we can wait on that till the new GM gets here in 06! WilliamTell
The way Garland pitches, I don't think we'll have to worry about signing him for a decent price.

knightni
Anthrax.. you need to run with that MLB Network idea. I would love seeing old games, Spring Training games... etc. That would be a way for the MLB to get more $$ like the NFL has.

Like During the Holidays, or close to the season, run the whole baseball season of the Sox.. 162 games avg 3 hours per game would run you.. 162*3 /24 ABout 21 days staright for a season!!
