Depending on his combine, I could see the Brown's trading down and taking Charlie Frye in the late 1st round. I haven't seen that rumor anywhere, but it would make sense to me. They aren't going anywhere next year anyways, too much problems.

why pass up on Alex Smith or Rodgers? Doesnt make too much sense

Frye isnt really projected to go first round, havent seen it

Cleveland could take DJ and then grab Frye in the 2nd

and on a side note I just saw a Jenny Craig commercial and have to post this face for Kirstie Alley :headshake :headshake :headshake :headshake :headshake

you are one fat ass cow

Wow, the official team release calls it a bad season.

I smell bad blood here or an organization who is unprofessional.

Yup, I was thinking the same thing.

I know Jeff did his fair share of complaining in Cleveland, irreparable damage must have been done.

I think the Charlie Frye situation is very logical Phf; if the right trade presents itself, that may very well happen.

However, many mocks had the Browns selecting Smith without Garcia's departure, this almost makes it automatic.

Yeah it just doesn't make much sense to me to draft Alex Smith that early when Charlie Frye is a very similar QB and they could gain extra picks. Neither Alex Smith or Charlie Frye will be ready to play right away in the NFL for varying reason's in my opinion. Drafting Frye with their 2nd round pick would be nice for them, but I don't think he will last that long.
