That's just weird. His average was stud in July, but his K/BB was well below June and August. Also his power was down from the previous 2 months. He became a more impatient slap hitter. When was his injury? That could explain the lack of power.

He had very limitted ABs in July... That was what the asterix was for.

If he'd posted 20 K months in the first 2 months of the year, I doubt anyone would be concerned about the K's.

I need dan to come through with the rate stats, but I kept track of the counting stats. -- The walks and K's are up in August largely becuase of the number of games he played. The Barons had a bunch of double headers in august.
