Bighurt52235
How cool would that channel be. I'd give an arm and a leg for it. I could be mistaken, but weren't there speakings of such a channel?
Mr. Showtime
Back in the day before Sportschannel there was something like that I do believe. Recently there was talk in the Trib that the Sox, Bulls, and Cubs would break away from Fox Sports Net and start something, but nothing in awhile about that. I don't want to pay to watch the Sox. Bighurt52235
You wouldn't pay for a channel that is all White Sox, 24 hours a day? I definitely would because the only games I can see are the ones on WGN once a week. I wish that games were on PPV on a single game basis, like $2 a game, or something similar. I don't have much interest in watching the Sox 24 hours a day. For someone like yourself, you wouldn't mind paying because you only see a few games compared to people who see a majority of them like me. So paying for games would piss me off for sure. Mr. Showtime
Also should mention, that YES is more than Yankees. It has the Nets on there to. Not that it really changes anything. That's the future though, I'd say in 10 years or so, all sports games will be on a pay plan like this.
MurcieOne
If A "CES" persay were to be formed. It would have to include All Sox All Cubs All Hawks All Bulls Bears being syndicated on Fox or Whatever.
Chisoxfn
It would be a cool feature, but all in all Steinbrenner screws the fans. As long as people like Fox Sports are willing to pay all that money for the rights I believe the games will remain free. Plus, isn't Fox Sports pretty much like that already? I know Fox Sports West carries all the hockey teams in SoCal, The Dodgers, Angels, Clippers and Lakers. Ocassionally you get games on the local channels, but I'd say we have a system a lot like that already.
mac9001
Ist't the YES Network a basic cable channel in NY?
Bighurt52235
I'm posing this question because I don't get the games, and this way I would. Plus, in my opinion, there'd always be something on TV this way.
