CWSGuy406
Here's the link, it's a free article, no subscription required: Link. B-Mac at 23, Anderson at 32, and former Sox outfield prospect Jeremy Reed at 10. Thoughts?
danman31
16. Jered Weaver, RHP, Team Boras This guy seems to like production that's why he has BMac and Anderson relatively high while Rickie Weeks sits at 36.
Palehosefan
18. Chris Burke, 2B, Houston Thats a pretty high ranking for a guy thats gonna be 25 in like half a month. I'm sure somebody can explain to me how Eric Duncan is a top 20 prospect and Ryan Sweeney doesn't even belong on the list. Its not like Sweeney was at the same level and putting up better numbers while being younger than Duncan is it?

I have seen burke compared to biggio on more than one occasion. Which if he does turn out to be that good he should be pretty high i think. 22. Chris Burke- 2B Hou (3/11/80) With Jeff Kent now out of his way, Burke will take over at second base for the Astros this summer. He's coming off his best season and looks to be up to the task. He plays good defense, runs well and controls the strike zone good enough to hit at the top of the order. I see no reason to believe he won't be a long-term starter putting up very solid to above average numbers. http://www.theminorsfirst.com/tmf100/tmf100(2005).html Edited February 23, 2005 by qwerty

The only reason I can see Duncan being that high is because (I've heard -- never seen the kid play or followed exclusively) that he has some real good power potential. Also, I don't understand on Sweeney isn't on there, but Anderson is... I don't follow these lists -- so maybe someone who looks more often at BP can answer this -- but do they generally prefer college prospects over HS prospects? He clearly favors guys with proven production over pure talent. At this point in time Anderson has more production.

Thats what doesn't make any sense about Duncan being that high on the list to me.
Cerbaho-WG
Only beef I have is with Duncan, but this looks to be the best prospect list compiled that I have seen.
