whitesox91403
Are they planning on drafting a RB or WR or other with their pick? I still don't understand why they are letting A-Train walk. Train and Jones could have been Bettis and Staley, I truly belive that. I don't want Braylon Edwards. He reminds me a lot of Terrell. There may be things to prove otherwise, that's just the way I feel. And why isn't Jeff George being given another chance at this team? All the talk about bringing in a veteran QB to challenge Rex and Hutchinson. I understand that, let George do it and spend the money elsewhere. Just say no to Kurt Warner. whitesox91403
Ok gene, it seems that we agree on everything except Jeff George. If I were in charge I would, I would keep A-Train, but since that isn't going to happen. I would draft The RB at #4 and pursue Mushin Muhammed and put him with Terrell, Gage, Wade, etc.............. Kalapse
It is extremely irresponsible and ignorant to say Braylon Edwards and David Terrell are the same player just because they went to the same college. They show no similarities to each other other than Michigan, the #1 and they're both pretty tall recievers. David Terrell is a jackass who has no idea how to play wide reciever, he drops passes, runs bad routes, trys to run before he catches the ball, is horrible with yards after the catch because he tends to gravitate toward defenders and he's just an overall asshole. Braylon Edwards on the other hand is a modle citizen who actually trys in practice, has more speed than David Terrell, way better hands (though he does tend to drop his share at times), runs great routes, has an amazing demeaner and his specialty is what he can do when he has the ball in his hands he gets big yards after the catch. Don't just shoot down Braylon Edwards because he went to the same school as some other s***ty wide reciever watch him play and see just how different they really are. knightni
I PREDICT: If the Bears draft Edwards or Williams, that neither will be playing with Terrell this season. Bye bye Terrell (thanks in part to the signing of Muhammed!)

Ya I think it is now a forgone conclusion that Terrell will be cut lose, there is really no reason for keeping him around now that we have a real wide reciever and Terrell sucks ass. AddisonStSox
Cheat, WR Agree. Train>Jones Absolutely not. Jones is the RB of the future here in Chicago. Jones is a very, very strong and skilled runner. He has been Mr. Reliable throughout his career and has been fantastic since his days in college. Train is gone. Edwards=Terrell :headshake :headshake :headshake You have to be f***ing kidding me. This is insanity. Comparing the two because they are both from Michigan is downright ignorance. Edwards is an awesome talent coming out of the college game. His size and playmaking abilites are unmatched by any current Bears WR. This is just goofy. He has an awesome attitude, a first-class work ethic and has shown signs of greatness. Why not let Jim Miller have another try? No. George looked crisp in practice and should get another shot. He can still play and I expect the Bears to carry 4 QBs on the roster next season. Hutchinson is the backup. The Bears are very high on this guy and think a full pre-season will do him very well. He can be a capable backup in the NFL. Say no to Kurt Warner. Agree.

Theres a reason Jones is on his 3rd team already, he was a HUGE bust as the #7 overall pick He has not been Mr Reliable nor has he been anything close to fantastic

Not #7 material, but a very capable back. There was a reason so many teams were looking at him this past season. He has loads of talent. He would have been a 1000 yd. rusher this season injury permitting, thats good. Injuries messed up those career numbers, for both the Cards and Bucs.
