And with the 4th overall pick, the Chicago Bears select Braylon Edwards, University of Michigan

or Derrick Johnson...maybe him too.

I gotta be almost positive it won't be Williams anymore, unless he can get the 40 time improves.

Not anymore.

Not after Ronnie ran a 4.32.  He is higher on there board, I gurantee it.

Also they are gonna give a long hard look at Alex Smith.

Plus isn't Miami said to be the front runner for RB LaMont Jordan in free agency? I believe that is what I heard. They have a number of holes to fill and not that many draft picks. If they can get a player like LaMont Jordan to play RB for them they can use the draft pick on other needs or trade it.

I am pretty sure you can forget about him. Angelo has said that he has 3 needs offensively to fill in the draft and free agency. He did not mention those needs but did say one has been filled with the acquisition of Mushin Muhammed. Maybe 2 of those needs was at WR and the other OT. Maybe one was a WR, another a TE, and another an OT. I really don't know, but I do know Angelo has loved Mike Williams since last year. He also likes RB Ronnie Brown and WR Braylon Edwards. If I was to guess I would say it would be one of those three guys.

So, Williams is out of the picture. OL is out of the picture. Benson is 75% out of the picture. It's down to, like I said, Braylon, Ronnie and Derrick.

Dead on. Of course I think Benson will be the Bears selection if available, but there is a good shot he's gone when the Bears pick.

Mike Williams = NO Chance. I personally wouldn't mind the Bears moving down for a team wanting Braylon because Williamson is a WR I'm really intrigued with. Projects in the mid 1st round and had stellar 40 times and the Bears still need that speed receiver.

Right now I'd be happy with any of Braylon, Ronnie, Derrick, Antrelle Rolle, or Benson.

However, for whatever reason part of me thinks the Bears could shock the world and grab one of the QB's if they are there and impress them. Don't know if Alex Smith goes quite that early though and Rodgers has to be going to San Fran.

The Raiders are most likely going to sign Jordan as their feature back after they trade Woodson.

I know one thing, my #1 choice is Williams because I think the guy is gonna be an absolute stud. Think Derrick Brooks. I freaking love the idea of him, Url and Briggs.

However I think Johnson is the Browns top choice and Benson is probably the Dolphins top choice at this point with Rodgers going to the Niners.

Which would mean Alex Smith is there at 4. But so is Braylon who I like quite a bit and I think Ronnie Brown can possibly be a Marshall Faulk type back.

I would bet that you are wrong. They have to get rid of Woodson just to be able to fit Moss under the salary cap. There is no way they will be able to afford Jordan as well.

I highly doubt Antrelle Rolle goes ahead of Pac-Man Jones.

They're going to release some other players as well such as Parella, Sapp and Washington possibly. Norv Turner is insistent on getting a power RB, and they want Jordan.

The Raiders appear to be ''closing in'' on a free agent running back, likely LaMont Jordan.

Varying rumors have Travis Henry or Jordan heading to Oakland. Whoever they pick as their running back will be an attractive RB2 type next season.

I don't know what Angelo is going to do, but I know what he should do.

Angelo needs to take a serious look at both Johnson and Rolle at the #4 slot. As has been stated on this board many times, Johnson is a rare talent. His athletic ability at his position is unmatched in this year's and last year's draft. Rolle is also a standout, lockdown corner. I have no doubt in my mind that Rolle will excel in this league and join the elite status in two year's time.

Now with the addition of Mushin, Angelo has a little bit more play with that #4 selection. If he wants to draft Mike Williams or Braylon Edwards, he'll have one of the better WR cores in the NFC. If he is dead-set on offense and sees Benson or Brown (which I highly doubt) he'll also have to give them a look.

If I were Angelo, I'd take Rolle or Johnson with the #4 pick, and draft Frank Gore :D or another RB in the later rounds. Looking at the RB class, there is talent from top to bottom. A few more names to watch: Ryan Moats (LT), Kay-Jay Harris (WVU) and Morrency (Okl. St).

That said: if Brown is there at #4...uh-oh.

Why would you take Rolle or Johnson when you have corners like Peanut, Vasher, Azumah, McQuarters. I really dont think that is a necessity or the weak point of the team. Frank Gore sucks by the way. Not only is he one of the slowest backs in the draft, but he can't ever stay healthy. He was much better before all those knee surgeries. He will be lucky to get drafted.

Ok then I say whichever back Oakland doesn't get Miami will. Miami will chose either RB Henry or Jordan.
